I loved playing Grand Theft Auto IV because it was the perfect progression for the series into the next generation. The world is so immersive and feels like a real city. GTA IV plays really well, you can free aim and use the target lock to defeat your foes with a variety of great weapons, which you'll learn to use as the situation demands. The mission types are fun and involve you killing a lot of people and doing various other tasks like any Grand Theft Auto does, which is great. The story line is engaging and even leads to tough decisions to make from time time which affect the outcome of the game. One of the best parts of this game is that it is more a matter of who you know than if you have a lot of money. Friends will provide advantageous offers of help if they like you enough, which helps immensely throughout the game. As I said, the story line is engaging and will lead to an intense and explosive ending which is so worth playing through to. All around GTA IV is a solid game that you definitely need to play.
