The lost and damned is without a doubt the best dlc ever, so if u own gta4 for the 360 go and dish out 20 bucks now.

GTA4: The Lost and Damned is without a doubt the greatest dlc ever. It packs on a eight to ten hour story, a multiplayer mode that kicks ass and with great new modes , and a bunch of great side missions. All and all this 20 dollar dlc includes more stuff than most 60 dollar games which says a lot. But the real question is, "Is it any good?" and the answer is undoubtfully hell yes. This game features some of the best set pieces i ve ever played in any game,(my fav being one mission when ur on the back of a motorcycle and u hav to take on the police, it was incredible and id pay 20 dollars to play that one mission alone) a couple in fact even surpassing the best missions in gta4. The game also fixes two of gta4s biggest problems checkpoints and bike handling. The game includes a first for the series with the inclusion of checkpoints which made dying not bad which rocked the house and is in my opinin one of the best new features in the game. Rockstar also improved the game by greatly improving the bike handiling in the game, which needed to be done because i hated the fact that in gta4 that if u even lightly taped something with ur bike ud fly rite, and now it feels smoother and in my opinion now hav better handling then the cars in the game. Now onto the story. Now, the stroy is really really good but no where near as good as Nikos story in gta4. Through out the game u get to really like Johhny, he a good man but is forced to do bad things because of the people around him, but there is one instance that made really hate Johhny because of one of the things that he did but i quickly forgave him bc he had good reason. But as the story goes on u get to uncover why some of the events in gta4 transpired which is really cool. One of my really big bites with the story is how it ends, it was really disapointing because i thought story wise it would hav been cooler but it was still ok so im not going to narc the game bc of it, i jus thought it would be more glamorus than it ended up bing. Now for the gameplay. the gameplay is pretty much unchanged from gta4 execpt for the new and improved bike handling(which was touched apon earlier in this review) which is good bc the gameplay in gta4 was near perfect. Rockstar also changed up the hud by giving it a grittier look and makin it feel more like a biker gangs hud. Now instead of having to call little jacob and hang out with him to unlock the special ability of discounted weapons which u now u get that from the begging of the game from ur new friend Terry which kicks ass. Also if ur bike gets distroyed or lost u can always call ur other new friend Clay who will bring u over a new bike free of charge when ever you want. For side missions you can also like gta4 do side races which r bike only which r really cool because u bow hav a bat to wack the other racers off their bikes which is a blast and is really funny if u suceed in doing so. Also their is a new side mission type called gang wars which is when u and ur gang go to find ethier a rival gangs hagout or veichle and kill them, i found this mode to be a blast and i spent at least 3 hours straight of just these, the only thing i didnt like about doin these is that theres no achievement points for completing them which is a real bummer since they r so fun. The grahics r also unchanged which is also very good because they were great to begin with. Now onto the multiplayer. The multiplayer is pretty much in the way u play it the same as gta4s so if u hated the multiplayer in in that game there is nothin here that is going to change ur mind. But the multi adds new modes such as chopper vs chopper which is when one man is on a bike and the other is in a helicopter and as the man on the bike tries to get to checkpoints the helicopter tries to take him out. There are also other new modes that r great such as witness protection and lone wolf biker which r all fun to play. There is alao a new mode that is alot like team mafia work that was a blast to play but i cant remember its name at the moment but its really fun. So all in all this game is amazing and a must buy, for 20 dollars ur expectations will b shattered and then some this game is fantastic. The only thing that i hav to state is that if this game was selling for 60 dollars as a disc based game id only give it a 9 out of 10, jus because there r some minor flaws but for 20 bucks they can b ignored. So as a 20 dollar downloadable game with a 10 hour campain and new multiplayer options this game is amazing so im awarding this a perfect 10 out of 10. Great Job Rockstar now jus do yhis again for the second dlc.
