I recently picked up GTA 4 due to all the hype it had and all the perfect reviews it got, not knowing how good it would be since I've owned a GTA. I was surprised at how the single player was so good and how the multiplayer is what Saints Row 1 and 2 should have been. No game is perfect though, the friendly AI sometimes take extra time to get in a car or follow you and there are small but noticable blinkage damage spots throughout the city. Multiplayer is very immersive due to the map being all of liberty city or a small portion or island of it so things dont get split up into small maps like most games like halo or call of duty. Overall a buy or long rent. Be warned though, if you do not like large open world games or do not like the F word and lots and lots of contantly nonstop innapropriate language. Also, only get this game if your TV is 20 inches plus, you will have to rely of your minimap ALOT and it is small for me and im playing on an HD 720p 32 inch.
