A much better way to re-enter Liberty City than replaying GTA III, superb game!
Grand Theft Auto III was an instant classic when it was released for the PS2 and everyone who played the game loved the city, which is the "Worst Place In America". In Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories you re-enter Liberty City but the story in the game takes place three years before GTA III (in 1998, GTA III was in 2001).
For the first time you can grab a motorcycle in Liberty City and take a ferry from Portland to Staunton Island. The bridge from Portland to Staunton is not fully constructed so you are always the only one on it when you jump across it, that's really nice. The bridge from Staunton Island to Shoreside Vale is the same as in GTA III.
I have to say that I'm really pleased with the outcome of Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories and I'm sure I am not the only one who thinks that.
If you compare it to GTA III you'll find a few things that have been added like controlling the camera when you're driving which helps really much. The motorcycles that we love from Vice City and San Andreas are here and some of them are just fantastic.
It's just great to grab a fancy sport car like Banshee and just feel the power by accelerating because the sense of speed in Liberty City Stories is awesome.
Whether you're a big GTA fan or just a regular gamer then Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories is a game you should seriously consider buying. It's cheap and you get a lot for your money.
