Good while it lasts
this is a good game, portable or otherwise, but there are a few negatives:
1. this game needs to be longer. it took me one week to finish the main missions, and the side missions are just standard old GTA style racing, paramedic, rampage etc etc I don't care how much you like GTA, the side missions get boring after a day or two.
2. this game is too much like GTA for its own good. its basically GTA with motorbikes. no helicopters, no airplanes, no fighter jets, no gym, no eating, no girlfriends. Basically all the innovations of GTA: SA have been dumped.
3. the controls are a little awkward, thought they do get better after a day or so of gameplay.
4. sound problems: get in a car and it could be a few seconds before the engine sound is loaded.
5. graphical problems: yes, the game looks good but i had many instances where the rendering seemed to be stuck i.e. not loading a building till i was RIGHT INFRONT OF IT!!! framerate stuttered when action got heated.
6. the missions are far too easy and far too short. they are basically oe dimensional missions, unlike GTA:SA's multidimensional missions. This gets quite boring, and only the last few missions rectify this by having longer and more complex missions. But by then its too late, as the game is nearly finished.
I know these looke like a lot of negatives, but it is still a good game. those that have played GTA before, i wouldn't bother with LCS unless you are a diehard GTA fan (like me, but it still was a little dissapointing). those that haven't played GTA, i would suggest looking at GTA:SA on the PS2 if you have one before you get LCS on the PSP. GTA:SA has many more features and provides the best that GTA has to offer. LCS basically provides GTA in your pocket (sometimes good, sometimes bad).
