At first GTA:Liberty city stories seems as good as San Andreas, but was not all it was cracked up to be. The gameplay is very similar like the other games in the GTA series and the storyline is pretty similar too. Man in gang. Man gets boss. Boss not nice. Man kill boss. And the cycle starts all over again. The first couple of missions don't include much killing and are more like errands than missions. For example one of the first missions is to deliver his car to a garage. And as you suspect, the car is stolen and you get chased by the cops.
The guns in LSC are the same as San Andreasexcept for a new sub-machine gun and a new sniper.The graphics in LSC can be described in one word: SUCK. But you cant expect too much from such a large world in a tiny disc.
The era of the game is during the 90's so the cars are not as retro as San Andreas, Liberty city or Vice city.The missions aren't as MA15+ as they seem, you shoot someone, a red liquid that looks like tomato sauce comes out and the corpse falls to the ground and desintigrates in twenty seconds.Not very realistic at all. The game is actually not as good as people think and i think you should borrow this game off a friend rather than wasting your money on this game.
Rockstar better stick to the Vice city storyline and make a sequel. LSC just didn't cut it for me. It was just built up on hype, then people bought this instead of God of War or Hitman:Contracts
Rockstar this game was not as good as it's predecessors and if you were like me and wasted your money on this game i say shame on you.
Overall, if you have enough money to buy any bad game, buy LCS.But if you prefer to pick a good game and save your money steer away from this game and buy something better.
