when this game first came out for the PSP i was rather happy that i could play GTA on a portable level the game had everything you could ask for in a handheld game multiplayer, large open world, lots of missions, side quests, colorful charaters, the game packed alot. when i heard it was being adapted for the PS2 i was intrigued i did not know if they were going to overhaul the engine add more features what the price point was going to be i didnt know what they were going to do, so on june 5th i was skimming my favorite sites and i found a review the game had no engine overhauls same side missions and no multiplayer i was confused to say the laest because the review never said anything about the pricepoint so i was a little speculative later that week i was in ebgames selling some old games when i saw it on the shelf for 20 bucks so i grabbed it i went home and immediatly got to playing and i have to say i had fun with the game its the same world that you knwo and love from GTA III with little tweaks added but nothing significant i played through the missions and they were fun little 10-15 minute things nothing too big like san andreas's missions but they were still fun, the music on the radio stations in the game are good enough not really any recoganizeable tracks mostly what youd expect to hear for that era the addition of motorcycles is nice but the fach that they took the helicopters out really disturbed me then i realized that almost all of the buildings had no real roofs but thats not a big deal above all the cutscenes are nice good voice acting none of the big celebritys you have come to know from proir GTA games but hey you got michael madsen in there weither that a girft or curse ill leave that to the reader but that game is good and for the price you cant go wrong id reccomend it
