Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a very awesome game. This game is set in the 90's in California. The main character is CJ, Carl Johnson. There are alot of familiar songs you will hear in the radio stations. You start out in Los Santos and work your way to the next cities by missions. But if you have not completed all the missions in Los Santos and want to explore another level, you will automatically have 4 stars because you are not allowed to explore that area yet. Let me point out that there are added skills that have been added. This game has RPG-like elements, the more you do a certain thing, the more you gain xp. in it. You can gain muscle in the game by going to the gym and workout lifting weights, boxing, and more. Another skill is connected to this, the fat. Your guy eventually gets tired of running around and exploring the cities, so he needs to eat some food. There are a couple of restaurants throughout the cities, Burger restaurants, Pizza stores, Taco shops..alot more too! You can also gain respect by completing certain missions, or get 4 Stars in your own neighbor hood and keep staying alive. You also have Lung Capacity; in order to have a longer capacity you must dive and swim under-water for a long time. In the ocean, there are 50 Oysters that you can find. Oysters increase your gender appeal, making you more attractive to the opposite sex. You can also buy new outfits at stores; hats, shoes, chains, watches, pants, shirts. Also if you want, you can make CJ where nothing but underwear. You can make gangs; recruit as many as you want an do drivebys; but beware, like you, they can die and they will never come back so it's good to recruit couple more homeboys. This game also has new vehicles; now you can actually fly airplanes! In order to go to some airports, you would need a Flying License. You also will gain flying skills if you ride in airplanes alot. Another new vehicle is the BMX, mountain bike, and one other bicycle. With the BMX, you can bunny hop and do wheelies! Like the airplane, you can gain xp if you would rather keep riding on these than cars. One of the nicest addition is the ability to ride a train. If you want, you can ride backwards really fast and go through the cities which you have not un-locked. Another brand new addition is having girlfriends. Some girls prefer muscular guys, so if you want her, you better go to the gym and work-out. Other girls dont want so much muscles, some just want a little. Having a girlfriend allows you to play 2-P mode; pretty much same as 1-P except you can only drive 1 car at a time. Now you can gamble; casino's are located in Los Venturas; the last city. Also in another city, you can bet on which horse will win the Horse-Race. You can also buy Safehouses now, there are a few in each city, ranging from thousands of dollars and way way higher! This is the place to change your outfit or save your game. As if the GTA: VC wasn't enough, there are tons of other exciting additions added to the game; but you should go explore it yourself, it's more fun exploring the game yourself than by a review. There are a few cons though, on my PS2, the game freezes once everyhour for a sec. Also the game does not have much frames per second. The story is also very deep, going though over hundreds of missions. The sound is great, alot of different sound effects. The value is definitely worth it, infinite fun. All in all, go get this game now, worth even more than the price is right now. Have fun playing the game, I hope my review made you familar with the new features! But remember; there are so much more features; I have not found them all as the game is so huge with deep depth.
