GTA:SA is a game that should not be passed up by any mature gamer out there!

User Rating: 9.4 | Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PS2
Grand Theft Auto 3 set the standard for third person shooting/driving out there today, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City remade GTA in the 1980’s with better graphics, weapons, and more various missions. Now Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas once again sets the standard by actually making the gamer care about how the player looks, feels, and acts overall. In this version of GTA, you play as CJ, a man who comes back to San Andreas to find out who has killed his mother, in the meantime being cautioned by crooked cops, and gang members.
Anyways, lets get on to the gaming aspect, shall we? GTA:SA offers the most options to the gamer in this series, up to date. You can actually care about CJ’s weight, how he acts, and what clothes he wears. Every classic fan of the series will feel at home with the entire “goal” of this game, and will be able to jump right in without any trouble, newer gamers will have to learn a few basic controls…and maybe have to learn the mission style, which is no big deal.
The weapons you make CJ use can be upgraded the more you use them. Cars can now be “pimped” to the gamers liking. The story is ok, and GTA:SA just ends up being a good game. If you are a GTA fan, don’t even finish reading this review, go get GTA:SA right now! If you are new to the series, might I suggest playing GTA3 first? GTA3 is getting old as of date, but still feels new and great every time I play it. I personally prefer GTA3 more than GTA:SA just because I don’t get into the entire 1990’s gang scene…but this game still sets standards to almost every game out there today…
