User Rating: 9.7 | Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PS2
Before I get started, I just have to tell a little story : 1 year ago, I was privileged by buying San Andreas of witnessing to most unbelievable gaming experience of my life. I finished to game in 2 months and a year later, it has never left my PS2. You think quitting smoking is hard? Try to stop playing this game before finishing it at 100%! There is no game that has been ever made, NO GAME that has as much replay value as San Andreas (Okay, except maybe Super Mario World but that ain't even a game, thats a blessing!). But enough about all that, lets get to the review shall we?

First of all, the story : You are Carl Johnson, an African-American man in his mid 20s living in Liberty City, USA. After hearing the news about your mothers recent death, you decide to go back to your home town Los Santos (Which is a GTA style Los Angeles........well, now that I think of it, living in Los Angeles is already pretty much like GTA...). When you get out of the airport, you take a taxi to your child-HOOD (Get it?), Ganton (Compton) where your mother used to live but on the way, you get caught up in a little welcoming by the local police officer, Officer Barbrady (Played by Samuel L Jackson), and get accused of the supposed death of an other local police officer. After telling him that you have nothing to do with it, he takes your money and drops you of in Balla (Your enemy gang) territory. From there you have to ride a bike to Ganton. When you finally get to your house, your best friend Big Smoke (who at first sight takes you for a robber). He takes you down to the cemetery to meet with the rest of your crew : your brother Sweet (a character based on the rapper Ice Cube), Ryder (he's based on rapper Eazy-E.....boy you should've known by now, Eazy Duz It) and your sister. So thats the roots of the story, your turn to find out the rest throughout the 2 other fantastically detailed cities : San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas).

The sounds in this game are absolutely incredible! There must be at least 3000 different samples going on in this game, all placed at exactly at the right moment. On the other hand, the graphics aren't all that special. If this was a smaller game, I wouldn't give a very good mark to the graphics but COME ON! DID YOU SEE THE SIZE OF THE MAP????? Now I know that this isn't nearly as big as World of Warcraft but LOOK AT THE DETAILS!!!!! So I have to give at least 8 for the graphics.

So thats my review, I hope it has been of good help to you and on a last note I have to tell you all to buy this game without hesitation, It shouldn't be missed by anyone!
