San Andreas is the crowning achievement to the GTA franchise and it easily lives up to that claim. It's a hard thing to release three games in succession of one another and each is better than the last, but the GTA series succeeds brilliantly.

Think Grand Theft Auto III + Grand Theft Auto: Vice City + More.

San Andreas sports a new urban look and instead of being set in a single city seperated by islands, it is set in one massive area that includes the usual city areas, but also large areas in which there is nothing but woods and the occasional farm. San Andreas introduces a new aspect to the GTA series - highway travel from one city to the next. In between the three cities there is an endless array of ramps, mountains, hills and woods to get lost in and have fun with.

And finally you can fly a Dodo with wings! And if that wasn't awesome enough, you can jump out of it and skydive to the top of the tallest skyscraper. This alone is worth the $50 pricetag.

If you own a PS2, buy this game. If you don't own a PS2, buy one and then buy this game.
