GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS by GD INC. REVIEW

GAMEPLAY: 10
- The charm of GTA is back with GTA: San Andreas. The next installment in one of the greatest series ever puts in the shoes of Carl Johnson. While GTA III was based on the Mafia and Vice City was based on Scarface, GTA: San Andreas is based on the life in the "hood." CJ (Carl Johnson) has just returned from Liberty City (remember this place) for his mom's funeral and the story goes on from there. The same old formula from GTAIII is back but there is also a bunch of new features. In SA you can steal planes, BMX bikes, and over 150 different cars and motorcycles. There is also an RPG element in this installment. For example, if you use the Tec-9 weapon for a long time you will get very good at it and be able to dual-wield two Tec-9's. San Andreas is a whole lot bigger then Vice City as it includes 3 Full sized cities along with a dozen of small country towns and a large dessert and the huge countryside. There is also a very large mountain were you can jump off and well... die. Also in this installment water is no longer dangerous as you can swim now. There are so many new things in this game that it would take me hours to list them all, so I'll stop here.

GRAPHICS: 8
- For such a large game the graphics are pretty good. Don't expect to see Resident Evil 4 type graphics but they are nicely detailed. The graphics are a small improvement from Vice City, but with all the things in the game its hard to believe that they could have actually added all that on a standard DVD.

SOUND: 10
- The voice acting in the game is Superb. And there is a whole bunch of it. Also the soundtrack of the game is incredible. I don't think any other game matches San Andreas in sound. The soundtrack for the game includes many 90's music artisist and crews such as NWA and Guns N' Roses.
Sound for the game is excellent.

VALUE: 10
- You can literaly play this game for over 60 hours and still not have done half the stuff. The game has so many things to do, maybe even more then Morrowind. The game is huge, if you want a game to keep you occupied for months get Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
