Wow! What a game Rockstar has put out yet again! Gameplay- I have never imagined a game with so much content. There is so much to do that with about 10 hours into the game I am still discovering things to do in Los Santos! I have yet to leave the city, and frankly, I dont want to because it is so much fun! Once I figured out that you could play pool, I spent fifteen minutes just chillin in a bar. How Rockstar has tied in the gangs to the game is unbelievably cool. You actually have to defend your territories and can take over rival gang's areas. The addition of RPG like elements is seamless, easy to use and ultimately fun to mess around with. CJ is freaking ripped! Clothes actually play a par in this game, wheras rival gang members will identify you by them, as will your own members. Dont buy the sims, this is way cooler! (CJ doesnt piss on the floor) The missions are awesome, with the usual grand theft auto feel to them. (use your imagination and it prolly is a mission) They also added stealth elements to it, which at first i wasnt too excited about until i tried it out, it isnt too complicated or frustrating. Not bad at all in the game. This is by far the largest map in any game also, at least 8 times bigger than Vice City. I dont want to leak all the cool little touches that R.S. added so ill move on. Sound- Not too shabby. Radio stations are sweet, even though I do miss Lazlow. However if you're a rock fan the choices are few and far between. But hey, we are in LA. Gun fire, Voice Acting, Tire Screeching is all top notch just as you would expect. They even through in Samuel J. as the a-hole cop. Graphics- Eh, its alright. The engine is showing its age, framerate is choppy at times but definitly playable But there are no loading times outside! Just a short one in transition from in to out though. The charachter models are definitly sharper now than in Vice City. You can actually tell they have hands! Value- Hells yeah its worth Fifty bucks! I havnt been this excited to play my PS2 since SOCOM 2 came out. I'll bet there are at least 150 hours of complete gameplay in San Andreas. Well worth it! Gripes- No matter what has been said, this is not a perfect game Framerate and the lock on system could definitly be tighter. It is frustrating at times trying to lock on to enemies in an intense fight. But it is still the sweetest game I've played. Find yourself a copy of San Andreas! It is the best! I dont reccomend renting, there's too much to do in only five days time. Time to get back to Grove Street Biotch.
