This is the best GTA yet. If you've never played GTA 3D before, then you're in for a treat. But for the veterans....

The game is awesome. Go buy it. Ok, I hate reading 2-4 pages of quirky paragraphs and stupid movie quotes to make your review sound awesome.... so here's what I like, pros and cons. Pros: - Plays just like GTA III and VC - Graphics are almost the same, if slightly better than the previous two - Storyline is better, you can't really guess what will happen like Scarface, er I mean VC. - Guns sounds more like real life, no BANG BANG! cartoon sounds - HUGE level design, much bigger and better than VC - You can finally swim, awesome! - 2 PLAYER! AWESOME! Cons: - Eating, working out, and changing appearance on paper sounded revolutionary. OMG it's not. They're nothing more than mini-games and you'll more than likey stop messing with it. - Playing Basketball! How cool!? No. It's extremely lame, you hold down (X) to shoot... or slam dunk. No moves, just holding down (X). Yep. That's it. - You've played this before if you've played the others, hype around all the "RPG" elements are rubbish. There you have it, short and sweet. This is south central GTA. Don't expect RPG style gameplay and don't get caught by the character development hype, you'll see through it the minute you play it. But overall, this game is awesome. No game out there competes with this game, period. My score is lower than the previous two, but only because times have changed and nothing extreme has changed in this game. If R* makes another GTA for PS2, I'm going to give it a whoopin' 4.5 because they milked this as far as PS2 can go, next one should be on PS3.
