Grand Theft Auto V survived the tremendous hype. It's a grand, hysterical, and flat-out delicious experience.

Grand Theft Auto V, while certainly not perfect, is one of the greatest games you'll ever get your hands on this year. First, and foremost, in my opinion, this game surpasses its predecessors in every department. Grand Theft Auto V is bigger and better – although it's a little buggier.

For the first time, Grand Theft Auto V introduces a three-character interconnected story-line that works out well and ended up being quite enjoyable. You 'll play as Michael – a criminal holding a dark past and an aggressive family. Franklin – a criminal who grew up in the ghetto and wants to do more with his life. Then you have Trevor – a complete and total
nut-job and psychopath.

Grand Theft Auto V contains so much content, it's nearly impossible to write it all down on this page. Just know this, the game is freaking amazing – especially for a game that's been released on an aging console.

While I did have some minor issues, it didn't take away from the experience since there is SO MUCH TO DO in this game. Seriously, if you haven't gotten it already, stop reading this and go pick the game up – that is, if it's still available in stores.

Good experiences:
- Heist missions are a blast to play
- Tremendous amount of replay-ability and content
- The story, arguably, for the most part, is the best of the series
- Driving mechanics are enjoyable
- The humor, for the most part, was creative and a laugh-riot
- Mini-games are surprisingly addictive and entertaining
- The re-vamped strip-club experience
- The constantly-growing anticipation of 'GTA Online'
- Additional weather effects
- The sound has been greatly improved since its predecessor

Negative experiences:
- Awkward flight mechanics take getting used to
- Some missions just aren't that enjoyable
- Didn't particularly care for any of the characters except for the main trio
- The revival, and implementation, of mission-based optional objectives
- The majority of the achievements didn't make me feel like going after them
- At times, I felt overwhelmed by the sheer size of the map and the content
- Some minor bugs or issues (disappearing cars in personal garages)
- Enemy artificial intelligence, at times, can be astoundingly stupid
