Vice City Stories is an incredible game, there is so much to do, but i can't help feel that it has been rushed.
Unlike the Liberty City Stories storyline, Vice City Stories has a decent enough one, although it does not really start off until Lance Vance drops into town.
The storyline is very straight forward: Lance gets into trouble, and you have to save him or help him out.
As you progress into the game, Lance will get involved with some real criminals, and you have to find a way out of this mess.
The problem with the storyline, is that there are no twists in it, its all very straight forward.
This is probably the toughest GTA game to date, some of the later missions can take a long time to complete, but the missions are all very well done. Some missions involve you driving a car, then shooting some people, and then flying away to safety, which is great fun.
And if you die in one of the really tough missions, you can just buy your weapons back for $2000, which is a great feature.
There are a lot of new features to Vice City Stories, which were not in Liberty City Stories. Like the jet-skis, playing golf, flying a range of different helicopters and planes, being able to swim and being able to run your own business.
Running your own business is a good feature, because you can make a lot of money, for not doing a lot of work!
Although, it does get very boring having to defend your business from rival businesses every five minutes.
The flying is good, the helicopters are easy enough to control, but the planes might take a bit more time to get use to.
The soundtrack is simply amazing, there are very few songs on the soundtrack that i don't like, and the talk station is very funny.
The frame-rate is pretty good, but i have run into a few problems, and the graphics are very, very good.
After you beat the story missions, there is still a lot to do.
I mean, the story missions alone add up to only 30% of your game completion.
The multiplayer modes will keep you playing for hours and hours with friends, it is really great fun.
No game is perfect, and this is certainly not perfect.
This game has far too many glitches. GTA is known for its glitches, but this game is taking glitches to a whole new level!
Unfortunately, you cannot save cars in your garage because there is a 70% chance that it will disappear.
The game seems to freeze a lot, and i'm sure you will find lots of other strange things.
All of this could have been easily fixed if Rockstar took a little more time.
Still, even with all these annoying glitches, everyone who owns a PSP should really look into buying this game, this is a really incredible game, especially for a handheld.
