Not like the Vice City I remembered...

User Rating: 6.9 | Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories PSP
The original Vice City was probably one of the best games I've ever played. Does GTA: Vice City Stories live up to that? Not really. This game does feel like a GTA but ironically, it feels like a rip off of it. I didn't really enjoy this game a whole lot. There are issues with this game that makes it feel rushed and not enough time was put into this game. The game's difficulty is just right, "hard" missions probably take a couple of tries. The graphics are great, just that there's a lot of glitches and environments that don't load up quick enough. There are other issues with characters getting stuck in the pavement, garage eating your saved cars and much more. The sound in this game does stand out. The soundtrack is perfectly done and really sets the mood of the time period. The dialogue in the game and on the radio is well written and really, somewhat brings this game to life. What disappointed me most was the value of the game. There are just too many glitches, not enough missions or the empire building didn't have a lot of dept to it and it feels like fifty dollars for this game isn't worth it. There are still the unique jumps and now, popping balloons in this game but it doesn't make it that much more "valuable". Like I stated before, this game doesn't feel like a lot of effort was put into it and it shows.

if you love GTA, this will be a good addition to your collection, if not, try it out but don't get too excited.
