Worthy Successor to GTA 3
User Rating: 8.8 | Grand Theft Auto: Vice City PS2
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City takes place 15 years before the events Grand Theft Auto 3. You play Tommy Vercetti, a mobster who has just been released from prison. When you are released from prison, you're sent down to Vice City in order to gain profit for the Mafia. Upon your arrival, you are ambushed and all of your drugs and money are taken. The controls in this game aren't too much different from GTA 3, except the plane is much easier to control and it's much easier to fly. The graphics are much more colorful and brighter than GTA 3, which give it a more visually entertaining experience and is a notch up from GTA 3 The Audio is just awesome, with licensed music from Run DMC, Motley Crue, David Lee Roth, Blondie, Ozzy Osborne, etc. The list goes on. The voice acting is also very well done. With Tommy Vercetti voiced by Goodfellas star Ray Liotta, and voice talents from Burt Reynolds, Dennis Hopper, Gary Busey, Luis Guzman and Jenna Jameson, the game has been made to appeal more This game isn't perfect though. For starters, the enviornment is flat as a pancake, there's no hills whatsoever, and you still die when you go into water! It's a town with alot of beaches, you should be allowed to swim!! And even though the cops will occasionally chase after other people, the AI hasn't changed much. And honestly, the fact it took place in the 80's made it less enthralling
