Among the greats in the RPG universe...but incredibly long if ya don't wut you doin.
One thing that alll gamers wanna know is...the fun factor of the game and whatnot. To sum it up in simple words...Grandia III...fun. Plain and simple, with a plethura of skills and magic spells...you'll be entertained for quite some time. Like stated before...the battle system is one of a kind, allowing you to eliminate random enemy encounters by seein your enemies and surprising them or goin in on straight battles. Point is...everything you'd look for in the RPG genre is here. Only problem is after seein the cut scenes for the spells, you wish you could skip passed them, patience is truly a virtue in Grandia.
The storyline is pure, unique, and original. All necessary for a game based around a story. With two playable discs with close to 40 hours of game time, the story is like a novel. Grandia III can be quite suspenseful and the desire to unravel the magical story keeps you playin. So if any other game elements wouldn't attract the gamer, the story does.
The other elements fit for a mystical adventure, Square Enix never ceases to amaze with excellent orchestrated musical scores. Entirely enjoyable.
So if you want the answer to your main question...yes Grandia III is worth every cent and time spent playing it. So if you haven't...get to your nearest game retailer and pick up this instant collectors classic.
