My first ever game as a child, I didnt know what to expect. After almost a decade, Grandia is still my favourite game!
It isn't just a few things that make this game great, its a combination of almost everything. Although the graphics could have been a little better, the effect of 2D characters and monsters on a 3D environment is actually rather charming, as are the characters.
As the game progresses, we learn so much about each character and their personalities. The stroyline is very good and progresses well. This is a long game with over 60 hours of gameplay, and it actually manages to keep you interested the whole time. The music score is wonderful, and you will find yourself actually caring about the game. I almost cried at some of the sad parts, but the game as a whole is funny and for the most part, lighthhearted. This is a game for ALL ages, and still love it even now.
