This might as well be the best adventure in years.
Just after the first few minutes or hours I've realized I have a very good game on my hands. With decent visual effects, which contrary to the opinion of some I consider vital for such static games. (Remember Syberia).
However the most important aspect of the game in my opinion is the overall feeling generated it by a solid unpredictable story and more over by an awesome set of songs. After finishing the game I browsed the whole web to find the soundtrack.
So as a conclusion to the good sides I can only say the game felt like a breath of fresh air in this gloomy world. Adventures of the last years were pure disasters in my opinion, unable to keep me playing for more than a few hours and boring me to death. But this really kept me going and even if at some point I got stuck I resisted the temptation to browse for a walk-through. The art and music really work together to keep you in the story and the development is very interesting. The final part and the explanation are wonderful and the fact that some mystery remains keeps you wondering for hours or days after the end.
However the game is not perfect. Although overall the game is a great experience the segment just before the end is absolutely hideous compared to the rest. I understood nothing from it, I saw no reason for it. And also the quests seem a bit too shy to put your mind to work. I miss some hard logical puzzles... and this game does not give you many.
