Gretzky, the great one but his game....... not so great. Let's start with the positives, wayne vs wayne mode is actually pretty good. when you earn 99 points, you " unleash the great one". This is a great arcade hockey sim mode. here we go, the negatives, i really don't like how you can shoot from behind the goal line and somehow the puck magically goes in. The goalies can't stop easy shots? come on, these are professionals! Also I find it hard to play defense. Also the rosters are way way out of date. It says 06! not 03!
The controls are dumb and hard to learn. If Gretzky ever played this game, he would run these guys out of business, I wouldn't put my name on this game. Gameplay- gameplay, put simply, sucks-4
Graphics- good graphics actually very realistic.-9
Sound- somewhere in the middle-5
Value- there are better, cheaper hockey games-5
