what was that "Codemasters" and where was you all this time...
EA games have to really consider now before releasing it's next franchise, me a humble gamer (whatever) was shocked when i got to run Grid for the very first time. at instance my disappointment from Need For Speed "Pro Street" was all forgotten and i was immersed in Grid trying to get money and earning points and believe it or not, there is no much customization options as in NFS "Pro Street" if not any.
what really got me was the eye popping candy graphics of Grid, as i was expecting a whole another level of graphics. to be more precise i was expecting a non-mature - 5 years old kiddo cartoon graphics. but what i saw was amazing, just to know how this thing is really beautiful simply watch the replay or check out any captured images from the game which is really accurate to the real thing and this is a whole other point this is the first game in my life to ever set and watch the whole replay of the race I've just played "way to go Codemasters"
further more the hardware requirement for this game is nearly nothing, compared to other available titles as if this game is magic. i mean I'm running an outdated Pentium 4 HT overclocked from 3.0 to 3.42 GHz and nVidia 7300 GT yet the game is really running smoothly than any other game regarding same level of graphics. i don't know how they did but if it's possible why not get a lot of games using the same tech rather than producing games that really need super computers to run on. without mentioning any more names but what else than a Core 2 Duo running at 3.1 GHz and 4 GB of ram in addition of a 2 nVidia 8600 in SLi Configuration to run a recent hit game decently i mean I'm hardly getting accepted frame rates with all graphics option turned on which is a -Crysis- in every way to gamers... ;)
ladies and gentlemen not to waste any more time, if you really wanna play a decent racing game Grid is the name. that's it NFS is dead "for now i hope" unless they decide to act reasonably and get help either from Codemasters them self or simply buy getting younger gamers and ask them about what they want or what should the next NFS install is missing to get back all of it's lost glory.
to "Codemasters" this is a real master piece but something is missing in terms of addiction i don't know, the game rocks but i can't sit straight for more than an hour or something...something is missing but other than that....simply THANK YOU
