GRID is one of those games that you're either gonna hit or miss on. The sound effects are great and the graphics are beyond superb... but what's the point of all of that when the controls are absolutely whack?? I seriously wasted one hour of my life just trying to tweak the advanced settings of the game so that the cars wouldn't keep on oversteering on me. And even when I got that tweaked to something I was moderately comfortable with, the AI in this game is still punishingly difficult, so that winning any race was still an impossible feat for me to accomplish. I guess that it's just an unfortunate instance where a game is all flash, but no substance (at least in my case). Sorry, Codemasters, but I don't feel like tweaking the settings of this game longer than actually playing the game itself.
The only "jewel" of this game is the flashback feature, though even that I feel is a bit too overrated.
