Not a simulation racing game as I expected, yet a very descent arcade.

The reason why I gave this game a pretty low score is because of my expectations. First of all let's see the positive points about this game: the sound is excellent, the crashes seems so real all the time; the GUI is excellent too, pretty much like Collin Mc Rae Dirt which a think it's a good idea to put in this game again a GUI like that, pretty friendly. The only critic I can make is that you can't use your mouse. The graphics are just amazing, the frame rate is really well handled. Every crash seems so real, accompanied with the sound let's you think you're living the real thing. The replays of every race let's you feel like you're watching a TV race, it's incredible. Doesn't have anything to envy NFS Pro Street.
Now the bad things about this game: it's not a simulation game, contrary on what Toca or Race Driver games used to be like. I expected a simulation game, where the race and your skills handling the car had a lot to do in it's behavior. Well, it just doesn't, you can't never control your car, if you step outside the asphalt yor car will start spinning for ever. You can't tune your ride accordind to the track you're about to race in. If I wanted to play an arcade racing game, I'll just put Nascar o GT Racing or even any of the NFS series. I liked codemasters racing games for their realistic behavior and the excellent level of simulation. Hope you guys make a better one in the future or maybe it's because these are the kind of racing games people like these days, not me. I hope the times of ToCA 2 or even Race Driver 3 come back.
