This Game Is Just WOW!!!!!!!
Starting with graphics I should only say that they are awesome! Scenery, visual effects, car physics, crashes,etc. are just wonderful! The lightning and shadows are super awesome as well!
The sound is great too! In Japan we have Japanese commentators that can give you the high atmosphere you need on the road! in some races there is some music playing that will really rush the adrenaline in your blood! Your teammates and managers give you comments in the middle of the race, something that is done and recorded beautifully!
Story is a part of Gameplay in Grid. A manager invests some money on you. By keeping the winning form you will have your own team after a short while. You can customize just about everything in your team. Team Name, Vehicle Pattern of your team, Sponsors (which offer you their money in return for objectives in each race such as finishing the race no lower than 2nd position or etc.) etc.
Your objective from this point on is to hire new drivers and win events to earn money and ascend in the season's teams and drivers charts or get the new driver licenses such as the pro license in the three divided regions (US, Europe and Japan). Winning events will boost your reputation and that's how you will be allowed into more huge events. Other teams offer you some money from time to time to drive for them. It's a quick way to earn some money but it doesn't do much for your reputation. Higher reputation points are earned when you race for your own team. After each season there is a great event in which you will drive around a very long circuit for 24 minutes (or 24 game hours!). The cars are divided into 4 classes and there are big prizes for winning in your class or winning the race overall.
Choosing your teammate can be tough, but do some searching and compare the skills, and you're good to go.
There are lots of race types in this game, many of them are brand new and some others are adapted from other games but improved.
Grid is the game that every gamer, weather they are into the racing games or no should give a try. It's definitely a must have. Congrats Codemasters :)
