Guardian Force is a tank 2d shooter. The screen scrolls in different directions not just straight. I like the upgrade system you pick up little upgrade power ups that increase your fire power by rising up your level from level 1 to level 10. Game footage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnZQOArzztI

I am enjoying this shooter and the more I play other import shooters for the Sega Saturn the more I find Radiant Silvergun to be overrated and way over priced. You might find the graphics a little dated but the gameplay makes up for it and you will forget about it quick. The enemy IA is pretty good they don't just shoot a pattern they are gunning for you. So watch your back. The music is very good and the sound effects are nice. This shooter is in my top 5 of must own shooters for the Saturn. Buy it NOW!
