Just when you thought the Fantasy MMORPG recipe was set in stone, along comes GW2. Just enough tweaks to make the whole experience fresh, just enough familiarity to make it accessible. the whole kill and gather quest lines are gone, replaced with an explore-ocentric world that makes you want to find out whats over that next ridge, I wonder what I'll find if I go over there, etc. Rift, WOW, EQ2 Vanguard, etc. all have the same formula, this is something completely different and absolutely gripping and fun. Don't miss this one! There's a bit of a learning curve, but if you've played MMORPGs before, you should pick it up really fast. Some people complained about how there wasn't as much hand-holding at the early levels, but really, you shouldn't need it. Just immerse yourself, and you will have a ton of fun.
