From someone who did not like the beta and was not looking forward to this game after that

I have been waiting for this game for a while but after i played the beta weekends and stress tests i came to the conclusion i did not like the game. For some reason it just did not feel right but i only PVP'd in the betas. now that the game is released from the 2nd i started playing the live it was just amazing, idk what changed my mind or what they did to make me change it but it just seems overall more fun and smooth. I have played pretty much every MMO that has come out and guild wars 2 is def the most fun mmo i have ever played in every aspect.

SPVP: the pvp is just outright fun, pure skill, no gear tiers u need to grind for, instead you pvp to get ranked up and earn glory to by cosmetic looking gear(that looks incredible btw)

WvW: this is an area i cant really talk about, i played it but it just didnt seem all that to me....fighting a gate for 10mins isnt appealing.....but the enviroments and map achievements are awesome doing still.

PVE: This is what surprised me the most...since i have hated pvp in every mmo. Guild wars 2 make pve amazing the questing system is beautiful, people might say its the same but its clearly not...istead of killing a certain number of beasts per se you have a completion bar for quests which you can do a number of tings to do to complete it, and sometimes a DE will pop that helps complete your heart too.
