This game is great, and it'll only get better over time. Twice as fast and fun as TOR and WoW, larger variety of classes, no Tank/Healer/DPS trinity, just a very free-form play-your-way game that has immense depth and richness to boot. Just go to The Mists and take part in structured PvP to see - you have full access to all your skills and to any equipment in that place. World vs World (read: server vs server) is a bit wonky at the moment, but it's good fun if you can get a group of 4-5 people together and avoid the front lines. PvE is stress-free and full of variety. The game also encourages exploration in a way that its predecessor never did. I could not recommend this more.
The main problem with the game is that it doesn't help you discover its features. For instance, you can send all your crafting materials to your bank from within your inventory menu, but it's not obvious how to do this and the game never once tells you.
