Guild wars 2 kicks mmos in the face
Why I like it
-dynamic combat lived up to its hype
-well thought out quests making leveling feel less Grindy then any mmorpg to date
-no subfee monthly
-innovative and beautiful scenery
-amazing character visuals
-rewarding PvP
-full of PvE content (which surprised me)
-smooth combat design, it feels more realistic ( your character doesnt strafe 90 mph back and forth
- cool looking armor and guns
- great voice acting
-difficult and visually innovative boss fights
-looting is no longer broken, less qq more pew pew
-feels like an RPG when solo questing ( good thing )
-AMAZING cities that are HUGE and fun to hang out with friends at
- gem shop eliminates gold farmers drastically
-no more dying to a level 5 wolf after losing a duel in goldshire *cough*
-questing is much more rewarding
- game rewards someone for exploring instead of detrementing them
- wpvp is a blast, feels like your fighting a war
- unique professions
- deep storyline, with a very well rounded character
- no more mob farming
Not so good
- grouping with friends is broken in spvp
- no trading
- no dueling
The good outweighs the bad
