Heaven or Hell! Lets Rock!!!
Guilty Gear X2 features seven new characters, bringing the roster to a total of 21 fighters. The two boss from the previous game, Testament and Dizzy are now part of the default lineup. The new characters are Slayer (a very old vampire with strong powers), Bridget (a mysterious kid who's weapon is a yoyo), Zappa (a guy who is possesed by a ravage spirit) and I-No ( a babe who weilds a electric guitar and is the final boss of the game). The other three secret characters can be unlocked as you play through the game. There are also some new modes that has been added to the game. The story mode allows you to play each of the characters stories and find a little background about them. The Medal mode is a survival type of gameplay in which you collect medals to increase your points. There is also mission modes in which you play as different characters and beat hard, complicated game missions. The controls itself is not fairly hard to learn, most of the moves are majority from Street Fighter and other fighting games but the good thing is linking them together to make such good combos. Spending alot of time in training is theb st way to learn advance moves and strategies.
While Guilty Gear was real solid on the Playstation, Guilty Gear X2 has seen so many enhancements. Some of the moves and combos are really amazing and the very nice story mode allows players to view the multiple endings of the game. The stunning anime stylish graphics has been enhance and it gives life to the game itself. The sound and music of the game is just perfect. Its really stunning and not many fighting games has this kind and X2 delivers good intense fighting from the music.
In the end X2 is far the best fighting game on this generation. This is a very solid fighter with good depth and difficulty that can be played by everyone.
