I've seen japanese tournaments where they play this game and they spend half the time in the air, alternating between who gets juggled around. Websites play host to videos of proud moments of common players, and upon seeing these you see you've stumbled into a club where everyone is your friend. Trouble is, this is one of those fighting games where you need perfect timing and execution to achieve the 1,000,000 hit combos (Not really, more like 20-30) that you;ve seen performed. Testing what moves chain with what will sap the hours that bulk this game out. Challenge modes can be extremely difficult but that's when you break out your newly developed combos. I wasn't able to immerse myself that deeply to give a 2D fighting game hours of attention, so I play techniques as they come. The high point is the sound. Extreme guitar tracks as diverse as the characters means your always playing to a fantastic tune. An adrenaline pumped game for sure.
