Great transition from the arcade to the console
The gameplay is definitely something that is best described as mix 'n match. It felt like a combination of Capcom fighting style and SNK fighting style. Maybe Sammy takes bits and pieces from both to make their own fighting style. For instance, they have the typical Hondukens and such. Then they have the super moves where you have to do the half-circle back to forward to execute. They also have it where you can knock people in the air and do air combos. It takes some getting used to but after you get the hang of it, it works.
Sound was great. They have great voice acting and the music fits for the game. It is actually a great thing because the voice acting is all in Japanese. No english voice actors. That really made the game easier to enjoy. Musically, it was nothing too outrageous. Music fitted with the stages and the characters...although for some I suppose it would get repetitive since there are only a limited number of stages. But it's a good chance you wouldn't notice.
This is a hard game to find now for some reason. I think it is a good find though if you have a chance to get your hands on it. If you happen to find it in your local arcade (for those that still go) waste a few quarters on it. It takes some getting used to, but you won't be disappointed
