Guilty Gear returns to the Wii! But is this game any better then the last entry? Read the review to find out!

Being a major fan of the series, I loved the 2007 Wii game Accent core. I was seriously pumped for new Guilty Gear game on the Wii. Sadly this game is almost identical to the game I already have! Plus is a fighting game and a pretty good one too. The game has several modes you have come to expect from the series. Although we now have two new modes, Mission and Story mode. Mission mode has you playing against another character, and you must follow the instructions to win. Story mode tells the characters story. Which after 10 yrs and all the fan fics, its about TIME! Still it doesn't really go into depth of the characters back stories LAME! Multiplayer is still fun and all you're favorite characters return. The game play is the same as accent core, so no worries there.

Yet this game does have some major issues. 1 no ONLINE mode! What is the deal yo. I can understand the game was delayed, but listen its not 2007 anymore. This is blasted 2009 and the freak n add on has no ONLINE play. Epic fail. Another gripe I have this game is the story mode. Personally I thought that this mode was a great idea! But what we got was still images and Japanese voice overs. My last compliant is that this game is terrible with the Wii mote,nun chuck and GC controller.

Well this game does have good things too. First off the Graphics are great. The backgrounds of the level "are most impressive" and I loved them. The character models and animations, are what Ive come to expect from the series. The music like always is amazing! This game is totally awesome when you play with the classic controller. The character selection is radical too. Although I only really play as Ky and Sol anyway. Multiplayer is still a blast and fun. All in all this is an ok fighting game. Yet I can't recommend buying it. It is just an add on, nothing more nothing less. If you can't find Accent core for 20 bucks then get this game. But that would be the only exception because it is the same game as Accent core.
