The best 2D fighting I've played in years!!!

The last 2D fighting game I played was the Street Fighter Collection but it didn't leave a good impression on me (mainly because there were no new content), so I thought that this type of game was extinct... OR NOT!!!

Guilty Gear XX Slash is a fantastic game that, at the same time, is beautiful and insanely hard for beginners (From my own experience it took something like 2 weeks to beat I-No with Sol just to find Holy Order Sol... I hate that guy...)

This game is not any kind of fighting games where you pick him up, play for half an hour and beat the game. It requires a lot of hard work to understand the various nuances, like Roman Cancel/ False Roman Cancel, and also to get acquainted to the characters.

Every fighter suits an specific type of player, there're those who are easier to play (like Sol or Ky) and those who needs an extra effort (like Venom or Potemkin) but ALL of them are amazing, there's no good or bad fighters, only fighters that you don't know how to play with. (If you don't trust me go watch at YouTube the Japanese tournaments, first time I saw someone beat Testament with Potemkin =D)

Overall, GG Slash XX is an amazing game, not for those who just want to pick up and play but, by sticking around, more likely you will love this franchise and realise that the 2D fighting gender is DEFINITELY not dead.
