Simple 80's madness planted into the Guitar Hero series. Great game, too high of a price.
The gameplay is the same great formula from the last two games in the series, there isn't anything new to the gameplay, but they did throw in some chord progressions that make you feel like you are playing the song on a real guitar.
The sounds in the game are top notch. It will make you feel like you are at the concert you are playing at wheather it be a high school gymnasium, or a sold out stadium of thousands. The songs in the game add to it. There are the highs and lows of the songs, but overall they are all great and fun to play.
The graphics are pretty much the same as Guitar Hero 2, in fact they are the same, with different color schemes, but that is easy to look past, this game is about the music, not the background colors and textures.
The game in my opinion is over priced at $50, but the die hard fans like me will pay almost anything for the games. Just go fish out a cheap price at a local Wal-Mart.
Overall, this game is my favorite Guitar Hero to date. It's fun to play, have great songs, and blasts me back to the 1980's quicker than any "I Love the 80's" episode on VH1.
