If you're into 80's rock, then this is the game for you
This game (as the title might hint at) Rocks the 80's.
I picked up the game went home and then plugged it in, and since it's rock from the good ol' 80's my mom was thrilled to hear the songs (as was I, I grew up with most of them). And it was a blast. you stand up tall in front of your tv with the Guitar strap safely strapped around your neck so you wont destroy anything when you rock out. You then enter the pose as you always do before you even get into the menu because you KNOW that NOW, you're the hard core guy. And then, there it is. You pick your character and the guitar's at your disposal at the beginning of the game knowing that, you have played the other 2 games, so you can jump straight into the Expert Difficulty!. that feeling will always be there in this game. The gameplay is the same as the last two games, so nothing has really changed (it's Guitar Hero 2: Now With Neon and Pink Plushie Zebra DVD) BUT! it is a gameplay most people have learned to love. But what the game is really about is you, playing the good ol' 80's rock songs, that you know (even if you're a 14 year old kid, you would know them). The games has always had a good amount of songs in them, some better than others (Rocks The 80's being no different, there are goods and bads) But even if you hate one of the songs, you find yourself playing them and still enjoying it over and over again. The only thing the game lacks is the bonus songs, but that is really not a problem (seeing as Guitar Hero 3, & Rock Band is coming out) so it's just like a little teaser (or trainer) for your fingers on either your right or left hand. all i can say about this game is. you have to try it at least once and it will grow on you. It's also good for parties and stuff. but just sitting alone at home playing it can be fun too. And that, was my two cents (hope i did alright)
