It's guitar hero....in the 80's

User Rating: 8 | Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s PS2
Now i was born in 1991 so i don''t know much about the 80's songs so my review is more based on gameplay and the songs as they appeared in the game and my initial impressions to them.

Guitar hero Encore: Rocks the 80's is overall a great game. Now price is a big factor but now the game can be found cheaper than retail(49.99), This songlist has 30 songs, and no bonus songs. Yeah that's a bummer but it is still guitar hero. The big songs are Turning Japanese by The Vapors, Metal Health(Bang Your Head) by Quiet Riot, Synchronicity II by the Police, What I like about you by The Romantics, I ran(so far away) by Flock of Seagalls and Play with me by Extreme. These a just a few. Now also this game features the venues from GH II with new looks and 7 characters in 80's clothes. Yeah and this is th main downfall of the game. It's too much like guitar hero II. But since it is a guitar hero game any fan will love. The song list in my opininon is pretty good though short. Multiplayer is untouched from GH II. Face off, Pro Face off, and Co-OP return in all of their glory. Basically it comes down to do you like guitar hero. If you do then get this game(try to find a discount though it isn't worth $50).
