Guitar hero 2 is certainally better than the first. The game contains around 20 more songs and the career mode is longer. The game contains more well known songs such as sweet child of mine and free bird. I find the game more enjoyable than the first as the second contains more guitar solos which will really test your skills on the harder difficulties. This game is much harder than the first, i bought this before guitar hero 1 and i was shocked at how much easier the first one was. If your new to the series i would recommend the first as this is a very difficult game especially on the hard and expert settings. Until guitar hero 3 and rock band this is the best rythm game available.
