This is the definition of music/rythem games. No doubt about it.

Dude this game is like totally like rad man! It like rocks! Dude! This game litterally does rock. If you you just liked the first one you'll LOVE this one. Everything, espeically the soundtrack, has been greatly improved. The characters, with their alternate costumes, the venues, the guitars, the songs, EVERYTHING! Nothing is bad about the game. Maube the graphics but it's a freakin' rythem game it doesn't matter! What matters in a rythem game is the sound. You've got Guns 'N' Roses, Lynard Skynard, Nirvana, Heart, Van Helen, Kiss, Wolfmother, Avenged Sevenfold, Suicidal Tendences, Foo Fighters, The Stray Cats, Stone Temple Piolets, Spinal Tap, Kansas, and many, many more. You've got all these good bands and all the best songs they've done. So basiclly, yeah, the soundtrack really does rock and I think is much better and more fun to play than the first one. Since this is in fact a sequal, the difficulty has naturally raised. Easy and medium modes are still realativily easy as they were in the first. But the hard and expert modes, they are a lot harder than they used to be. But of course how could I write a Guitar Hero 2 review without mentioning the awesome and very well improved multiplayer? The multiplayer is HELLA lot better than the first game's multiplayer and is the most improved aspect of the game. In the first game there was only one multiplayer mode and it wasn't very much fun. Player 1 gets some notes and the Player 2 gets some and they just switch off and whoever hits the most notes they get wins. Rather boring really. This mode is still in Guitar Hero 2 and is known as "Face-Off". Luckily, there are two other better multiplayers. Co-op and Pro Face-Off. Co-op is where you work together (DUH) One gets lead guitar and the other either gets bass or rythem depending on the song. This is probably the most fun multiplayer in the whole game. And then we have Pro Face-Off. It's like Face-Off, but both players get ALL the notes instead of player 1 getting some an player 2 getting some.
