Guitar Hero II Brings the Rock to the Max!

User Rating: 10 | Guitar Hero II PS2
Guitar Hero was one hell of a rocking experience that put rock to the consoles in a fun way, with an innovative guitar control. Well, it returns this holiday season in Guitar Hero II. This game improves heavilly upon the original in my opinion, and playing it for a little while, you really start to love it. It's a bit easier than the original, and just right to play.

The song line-up is much better than the original, you have favorites like "Rock this Town" (Stray Cats, 1981), "Surrender" (Cheap Trick, 1978), "You Really Got Me" (Van Halen, 1978), "Freebird" (Lynyrd Skynyrd, 1973), and several others. Each song is so fun to play.

The graphics are much better than the first, they aren't realistic nor are they are bad. They are just right. The people in the game look much better than they do in the first, and so do the concert locations. The game just gets more fun as you play. As playing all the unlocked songs on the first, it isn't perfect, but beating it while it's still going is a lot of fun.

If you always wanted to be a rock star, Guitar Hero was well worth the shot, and this sequel is more worth it. Guitar Hero II rocks harder than the first one and it is much more fun and yet a lot better looking than the original. Guitar Hero II is a succeeder.
