Great idea, and executed well. Beats in-time button pressing on dancing games. Fun for all bar real maniac guitarheads.

The second installlment in the guitar hero series was a massive step up from the first. If you didnt alredy know, this is because guitar hero 2 features a controller which is practicaly a guitar. Not much use for other games, but it doesnt need to be! Simple idea, but executed brilliantly. You can use the controller tp play, if youre desperate for a multiplayer, but only have on guitar, However even though the first game used a pad, it just doesnt cut it any more. youd be best off forcing your friend to buy the game!

The song line up should please most, as there is a mix of genres (within rock) as well as a few which everyoen will recognise. Also the great range in difficulty means it can always be a challenge.

But, the main thing i like about this game is that practice really does make perfect.as you play you can FEEL yourself getting better. When i first started the game i never would have dreamed of playing it on expert, but hey,i sure showed me!

Overall this is a great game which is just pushed further with the multiplayer. Anyone can enjoy this game, but obviously a love of music helps. Whereas it is more expensive than other games, you won't regret it. Nuff said.
