decent...and that's all.
First let's talk about the good stuff.
Great track list, maybe the best from any of the games. And of course addicting gameplay, once you play a song you've gotta beat the whole set then more.
It does the same thing the previous games do in that respect. It's also at it's highest fun level when you're playing with friends.
Well, now the downsides.
It's really no different then the other games, besides the fact there's annoying guitar boss battles and different songs.
Another thing is, the casual gamer can't play most of the songs, for you have to beat career mode a certain amount of blah blah blah and it gets boring playing the same songs over and over again to beat career modes multiple times.
One more thing is the guitar player on screen, you have to choose between like a few different characters who are no different then those of the previous games, why didn't they make it like in Rock Band where you can customize your characters?
The biggest turn off for me was that once you get to harder songs or harder difficulties, your smashing buttons so fast it's not even enjoyable to play, rather, some sort of wrist exercise, you can't even enjoy the song cause your focusing on pounding some button set.
All in all it's fun at times, but hasn't shown me it deserves all the hype and the huge fan base it gets.
