Audio:
The set list is kind of small but very diverse. The GH Live set list is massive though.
Visuals:
It's cool to see the live action scene but it grows very stale after a while. I think it provides a more mature look for the game but I think they could do something different next time.
Game Play:
The change from 5 colored buttons to 6 buttons (3 on top of 3) is a welcomed one. It makes the game a little bit more challenging but a lot more mature. I think the biggest flaw of GH is that it comes off as childish and they really addressed that issue with the changing of the buttons.
Other:
The set list isn't that big. GH Live is a good addition but songs play at random and it requires tokens, also available for in game purchase, to play a select song and that's kind of a rip off considering you are paying 100+ dollars to buy the game (the original price). The game is a lot more adult oriented and that's a huge plus. The game is very bare and only features two modes - Career/Free Play and GH Live.
Overall: 7/10
I think the more adult look and style is great for the game's future but it's very bare and not worth the high original price tag. I was lucky and picked the game up with the controller for only 20 bucks. I hope they add more content and game modes in the next game as that's a big flaw with this one.
