This is an amazing game. its a very simple game, yet it is nearly impossible to beat. i had also played amplitude before and that was a great game, but guitar hero is a big improvement. this game probably has the best soundtrack ever. the easy difficulty is pretty much to get the player used to the guitar controller and how the game works. medium adds in the pinky, which can be challenging because most games dont involve the use of the pinky. hard is even more challenging, because it adds a fifth button, but there are only four usable finger, so the player has to get used to shifting their hand. the last difficulty is expert, which has the player play pretty much every single note, with more chords, and more hand shifting. this variety of difficulties makes this game accessible to both beginners and veterans of the rhythm genre. it also helps beginners build up their skills gradually on each difficulty. overall this game is very fun and entertaining. it is also a great party/group game and has great multiplayer. guitar hero may be a $70 game, but its worth every penny. i would recommend this game to everyone, especially fans of the rhythm genre and rock music.
