Probably the most popular ryhthm game serie in all time! Guitar Hero is a uncontestable must buy for the Playstation 2, allowing you to play great songs of famous bands at the comfort of your home. And this first one is the best game in Guitar Hero series, because it has the best songs and the best gameplay for the DualShock (for all the people like me who don't have a guitar controller). If it has a decent multiplayer mode, it would be the perfect Guitar Hero. The songs are great and aren't so hard to play, so this game is the best beggining way for the novices. The gameplay is innovative for who plays on the guitar controller and reasonable for who plays on a DualShock. The graphics aren't so good but aren't ugly. The replay value is very high. You will play the same songs for months and maybe for years and will still like to play the game! Incredible! If you don't know Guitar Hero, you've never played in a PS2 in your live.
