Guitar Hero... where to begin...? Okay, let's start by saying that the Guitar Hero III guitar does not work with this game and I'm stuck using my controller. Why would anyone buy a GH game and use their controller instead of a guitar??? Well, I don't know who... but on a completely different note, the characters are ugly as heck! It's so hard to focus with those freaks staring at you with their mouths hangin' open! Which leads us to the next subject, personality. Do they have it? NO! They just sit there jumping around while their faces stay in the same position! You have to unlock the shop. which doesn't do the game any good because, though the game is pretty good, it really has some serious problems.
I'm not going to lie, other than the ugly characters with no personalitys, it has really good graphics for a PS2 game! Well, again, on a completely different note, the gameplay is the same as always, the only real difference is the song list, which has better music than Guitar Hero III, although the singers don't do a very good job at singing it... but it's the thought that counts, right? I sure hope I'm right...
Pros: Good graphics. Good song list.
Cons: The singers aren't very good at singing the songs. Ugly characters. Characters have no personalitys. It's the same as always. GH3 guitar doesn't work with this game.
Ehh, you can get it if you want. I wouldn't recommend it though.
I don't play rhythm games, and in fact unless the game is Rez, Frequency or Amplitude, I won't even feign interest in the genre. I do not play the guitar; my fingers have sixteen years of training on the wood of a cello.... Read Full Review
