Guitar Hero is a revolution in gaming history. It combines the art of playing music and playing a video game. You can jam all night and all day with it's 6 characters, plus 2 unlockable characters (Izzy Sparks and The Grim Ripper). It also has a variety of guitars "custom made" for the use of each character. I prefer the double necked guitar. There are also a mass amount of songs. Of these songs at least 20 of them have to be bought from the unlock shop, which unfortunately is only available in the medium, hard and expert modes. The other songs have to be unlocked by you in the various modes of difficulty. Also, another slight disappointment is you have to unlock everything separate lt as you pass on through the levels. It doesn't allow you to win a character in medium and have it in hard. You would have to unlock that character in hard mode too. Well over all I would say that this is one of the best games ever and even though it's a little pricey you should go get it.
I don't play rhythm games, and in fact unless the game is Rez, Frequency or Amplitude, I won't even feign interest in the genre. I do not play the guitar; my fingers have sixteen years of training on the wood of a cello.... Read Full Review
