The lack of western games on all consoles over the past, well ok, forever, is a little disheartening. Rockstar tried a few years back, and failed (imo), and there are of course the old-school wild arms games, which really don't count. The first release of Gun put a little swing in my step; being able to quickdraw and wrangle me up some BA outlaws was more than your average entertainment. It's port to the psp not only kept the dream of gunslinging alive in the handheld department, but also stepped it up a notch. Customizable characters and Wi-Fi play gives "Do you feel lucky, punk?" a whole new name. I found, however, the controls to be a little clunky; steerage of your horse and the over-the-shoulder ffs aspect was hard to grasp that small in your hands, but the gameplay and story made up for the shortcomings. Definitely pick this one up if you, like I, have been longing for some good old western action.
